The Australian Nursing and Midwifery Federation (ANMF) is proudly partnering with Jean Hailes for this year’s Women’s Health Week.
Jean Hailes Women’s Health Week is an annual campaign celebrated between the 5 and 11 September and is the biggest week in Australia dedicated to good health and wellbeing for women, girls and gender-diverse people.
ANMF Federal Secretary Annie Butler said she was delighted that the ANMF was collaborating with Jean Hailes for this special week.
“This is a crucial and worthwhile partnership for our predominantly female members, who have been working under extremely difficult conditions, often at the expense of their own health and wellbeing.
“This year’s theme is aptly titled, ‘It’s all about you’, and I am encouraging our female nurses, midwives and carers to take this theme to heart and spend some time focussing on their health and wellbeing,” she said.
